Also OE offers the android flash device that suppose to be easier to use.Alright, my gsxr with -1 on the front tooth had a pretty big decel upon throttle let off, it felt the same as the gsxs stock gearing. PS OE Tuning let me keep my mygenius device I purchase from brentuning, they are able to provide you a unlock code you enter in your device and that will let you load OE flash maps. Kevin did bren try any else to try and fix your issues? With OE Tuning i got great results and my bike runs better then ever! I'm not trying to say OE is better then BT as many people got great results with BT just that Bren should of help me out more with my issue. To my surprise i leard that OE Tuning and Brentuning started developing The first S1000RR flash tune together. Stuck with bren tuning V1 and end up finding OE Tuning true a friend that deals with them on car tuning. I do maintenance and install all my aftermarket parts myself! I know about tuning my bikes or when I have and issue! I have 15 years of riding experience and during this time i owned 10 bike that I all modded and go them tuned by professional tuners. To my surprise they refused to sell it to me saying I'm someone who those understand how tuning works. One good way to show your clients you have a good product! Months later V2 come out from BT and I decided to give them a call and purchase V2 to see if this update would fix my issues. I have to say bren map in lower rpm felt faster but back on stock map most of friend had to chance a long strait away! Bren decided to drop me customer support and told me I don't understand his tune. On stock map my bike would feel slower under 9rpm compare to bren. For some reason my friend on the track would be able to pass on long strait always with no problem! Bren tried to fix my problem with a remote custom tune and I still had the same problem! I did multiples test when being on the track going from stock map to bren map with his mygenius device to make sure I did have an issue. I end up losing power and my bike got slower after 9 and 10rpm. I also had brentuning first V1 tune with the mygenius device. ![]() Although the autotune module on the PCV would work wonders. Pretty much every one of them were well known for doing dyno work on race engines at club level and above and all of the tuners have race bikes too so they tend to know what they are looking from the seat of the pants dyno tooĪs far as flashing an ECU goes it is never going to give you a map that will perform 100% particularly one that is loaded when the bike is static, only dyno tuning can do that because every single engine is different, at consumer level everything suggests that the Bazzaz unit seems to be the better option for the BMW specifically because it allows control over all 8 injectors rather than just 4, I have always used power commanders for my other bikes but that was because they did what they needed to do, on the BMW a PCV to get the best out of the bike would need to have an additional module to take advantage of the extra 4 injectors which then means double the price of the kit pretty much. Tuners are few and far between in Scotland so there is not much to choose from but I do beleive if you want the best out of your bike then when it comes to getting dyno work done you go to either someone that comes highly recommended as an independent dyno tuner or someone that is a specialist on that bike, I look at the Superstock and Supersport team from BSB and see which teams are doing their own tuning or who they are using and generally go from there.ĭown South I always used to use Dynospeed developments in Essex, Dynotech in Bramley Hampshire and Phil Seton in Colchester, HM Racing in Kent. ![]()
